| PROCESS ENGINEER Core Responsibilities Optimising processes to ensure targets are met; Managing, proposing, evaluating and developing the process design package for plant modifications, which enhance the performance and / or improve the safety of the plant; Effectively communicate with stakeholders; Attending and giving input into design reviews as well as hazard and operability studies; Technical support to plant operations; Providing active support to Engineering in planning and executing plant shutdowns. Following, maintaining and assisting in the development of systems and procedures which will ensure that the Technical department operates as an effective custodian of the technology employed by operations Providing mentorship to Engineers-In-Training (EIT). Required competencies The incumbent must have a BSc Eng / B.Tech in Chemical Engineering He/she must have five years process plant/engineering experience Exposure to the petro-chemical and/or pharmaceutical industries is preferred He/she must have strong leadership skills | |
